Freeman Rock Inc.
Since 1976 Freeman Rock Inc. has been providing quality materials, services and support for Curry and Del Norte counties. From our three locations we produce ODOT and CalTrans spec construction gravel, a full line of river run and quarry products and we sell a variety of landscaping products. These are all available for pick up or delivery. We deliver ready-mix concrete which can be ordered with integral liquid coloring and many other additives. We sell to state and federal agencies, contractors and the general public.
Freeman Rock, Inc. is an Oregon General Contractor with experience in rock crushing, gravel road and driveway repair, building site development and demolition. Some recent projects include Federal Express, Bi-Mart, O’Reilly’s Auto Parts, The Brookings VA Clinic and pervious concrete parking lot, Oceanwinds Apartment Complex as well as the demolition of the replaced Gold Beach Hospital in 2015.
Freeman Rock, Inc. employs full time quality control technicians certified in concrete design and testing for both rock and concrete. This allows us to supply high performance products to projects including the Hwy 197 Little Mill Creek Bridge replacement, the Hwy 101 Last Chance Grade, the Gold Beach Isaac Lee Patterson Memorial Bridge, the Gold Beach Waste Water Treatment Plant, the Crescent City Harbor waterfront promenade, the new Gold Beach Hospital, the Brookings Curry General Clinic and many other important infrastructure projects.
Freeman Rock was founded by Ted Freeman, Sr. Ted, his wife Doris and their children who are known by many as a pioneer family and for their contributions to the Brookings area. Today, with an average of 23 employees Freeman Rock, Inc. continues to uphold the family values and traditions of the Freeman family, being locally owned by Michelle McCormick and Darrel Nelson since 2015.
